Documenting and maintaining assembly procedures, work instructions, engineering standards, manufacturing standards, producing supporting written materials, maintaining multimedia libraries, and any other applicable tasks for the Manufacturing Engineering & Quality Group. Other duties include spending time on the manufacturing shop floor and assembly shop floor to gather information for all applicable tasks.Typical FunctionsWrites technical descriptions specifying work instructions, standards, processes, material qualities and properties.Requires knowledge of principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics, as well as experience in manufacturing.Analyzes plans and diagrams, or observes and makes notes on assembly or production processing, to determine material and material processing specifications, or specifications for production or assembly activities.Writes technical descriptions specifying material qualities and properties, utilizing knowledge of material standards, industrial processes, and production procedures.Writes technical descriptions specifying production or assembly work instructions, utilizing knowledge of engineering or manufacturing standards, industrial processes, and production procedures.Arranges for finished drawings or photographs to illustrate specified materials or assembly sequence.Creates multimedia presentations from user created video submissionsMaintains computer database of work instructions, specifications, and video libraries. Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma. Associates degree + preferred.PC experience and training required, such that the intermediate to advanced levels of skill that can be demonstrated in the full Microsoft office suite and the photo editing and publishing portions of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively to target audiences.Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively.Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to a problemAbility and willingness to work flexible hours and extra time on an as-needed basis, involving extra hours during the week, Saturdays, and occasionally Sundays and Holidays.Valid Divers License and minimum liability insurance on personal vehicle as required by law. #TULIND
