Work schedule: M - F 40/week, client is flexible with start/end time.Responsible for ensuring the customer needs are satisfied by providing specific deliverables. Ensures good practices in standard methodologies and processes are used to deliver an integrated solution. The major emphasis is on coordination of tasks. The job will require direct customer interaction and activity reporting. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products. This position serves as a single point of contact and acts in a liaison capacity to facilitate problem resolution.Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs. Maintains, analyzes and troubleshoots enterprise application printing devices. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.Responsibilities: Remote troubleshooting of software issues related to printing and faxingPerforming Break/Fix tasks on application printing.Create and maintain support documentation. Manage Print and Fax related optimization projects. Conduct planning and rollout meetings, maintain project schedule/plans.Creating a Project and Communication Plan to optimize selected sites.Assisting with engineering of new print workflow solutions. Configure printers using company standard configuration Troubleshoot complex issues crossing multiple technical areas (Network, Servers, Print Devices, Applications)Additional skills " nice to haves/not required" PrinterLogic Print Installer Webjet Admin server. Xerox CentreWare serverApplication Printing (SAP) ServiceNow Required experience: The candidate MUST HAVE a Bachelor's degree in a tech field. Looking for more of an analyst and project coordinator NOT looking repair type person NO field techs.Higher level of help desk support. Goes through steps with individuals that are having issues to resolve. This person will NEVER touch a printer to fix it.Sits in PA at headquarters, will be working with all of client's buildings globally, manage all printers and orders, printer projects and configurations to make sure printers are connected to print servers correctly, troubleshoot on server side, troubleshoot the steps when printing fails. 147 sites globally, will coordinate each sites printers, ie. One site has 5 year old printers, this person will optimize those. Coordinate with the client on getting new printers if needed, coordinate with Xerox/printer company, or set up repairs with managed service providers in each sites area. Some type of project coordination involved in that hovers between Level 1 and a Level 2. Checking errors on printer logs, and server to locate issues. Possibly looking through active directory. Identify the problem and send to appropriate team to resolve, if they cannot analyze and configure issues themselves. Will accept someone who has strong project coordination type of experience with Bachelor's degree. Not and overly stressed type of job. Busy work, person will not be bored, but will not be stressed. Looking for long term people only who want to be there for years. Self-starter who can run through proper steps for analysis. If I need a printer next Friday contractor can do all of the steps and walk through the list that you were trained on. Will be trained on lists and steps and job. ServiceNow and SAP are a plus.
