3 months contract-to-hire position for a Marketing Operations Analyst in Fort Mill, SC

The Marketing Operations Analyst is responsible overall data management for the marketing organization.

This includes collecting and analyzing marketing and related financial data that will help drive intelligent data-driven decisions for sales and marketing management.

The Digital Marketing Analyst will gather data to evaluate various marketing campaigns, market and sales channels, related business financials, and web analytics data to drive data driven decisions that increase overall revenue and profit for the organization at a strategic and tactical level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

List development and management including segmentation, and uploads

Develop and analyze marketing, sales and business data to help guide business decisions using data and statistical analysis

Create models for proposed marketing initiatives to drive ongoing improvements in sales and profitability

Develop meaningful metrics that communicate marketing performance results tied to strategic objectives

Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports for Marketing teams

The Analyst is expected to continually improve his/her knowledge of tools, data, the business, and best practices

Influence decision makers not only with data and recommendations but an ability to communicate effectively.

Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in business-related field

2+ years of experience in marketing, financial analysis or some other field that requires reporting and analysis of raw data

Knowledge of SQL, Google Analytics, and statistical analysis methods.

Understanding and prior experience of Salesforce.Com

Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (experience working with large amounts of data, pivot tables and complex functions)

Perform in-depth and root-cause analyses, identify trends, and succinctly report key findings

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees of all levels of the organization

Analytical skills and strategic thinker

Ability to identify what needs to be done and take action before being asked

Strong attention to detail a must
