Summary of roleSelected candidate will maintain existing code and build new programs in support of a large project or small enhancement/production ticket level of effort. The Lead Mobile Developer will also assist in the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new Mobile/Digital applications, modifying existing software applications, and helping to establish coding standards and best practices, promoting code re-use within the team.Responsibilities Create technical specifications and programs required to meet business deliverables dictated by the business. Review code changes for completeness, scalability and adherence to existing patterns. Design new features for implementation. Complete a variety of project construction/testing tasks in support of major upgrades and/or large projects and complete development tasks in conformity with established patterns. Work collaboratively with others (internally and externally) to achieve common objects, goals and results. Collaborate with Project Managers, Database Administrators, Architects, and QA to complete business initiatives. Take full responsibility for multiple applications from inception to release. Provide estimates for work/project tasks to be completed, assist in defining resource needs/allocation, and orchestrate delivery of tasks and follows up to ensure deadlines are met. Provide mentoring to less experienced developers, promote code re-use within the team and help define the tools and frameworks utilized by the department. Education - BS/BA in computer science or related software engineering (preferred) Skills/Experience 7+ years of experience as a Lead Application Developer IOS, Android or Xamarin development experience Expert understanding of Object-oriented programming and how to create applications that are easy to extend and maintain Expert knowledge of .NET frameworks 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services and SOA, WCF, ADO.NET and IIS. Experience using Visual Studio 2010, 2012, and 2013 and integrating with Team Foundation Server for source control, continuous integration, and code reviews. Experience developing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and working with SQL Server Great analytical and trouble shooting skills, with a passion for technology. Advanced professional or theoretical knowledge and fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in a field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities Basic understanding of budgetary concepts and procedures, with the ability to delegate tasks and get work done through others.
