Catapult Staffing is partnering with a Multi-national IT Consulting Firm in Columbus, OH (43085)  to provide a Field Service Tech II!


In this role, you will:

  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
  • May require an associate' s degree or its equivalent.
  • Requires at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field' s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

  • We are looking for a deskside support tech.
  • This tech will be Installing and repairing printers, desktops, and laptops.
  • A typical work day will consist of checking the queue to see new tickets, making appointments with end users and then going to the location to perform the required work.
  • This work could be break/fix or IMAC.
  • This contractor will cover the area between Columbus, OH, and Dayton, OH. (approx. 50 miles a day).

  • The top 2 required skills are
    • Field dispatch experience and
    • desktop, laptop, and printer break/fix experience.
  • This candidate needs to have around 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • This is a fast pace environment with a good group of existing technicians.
  • This tech must be extremely professional, process-driven and very organized.

  • The work schedule will be M-F 8 to 5.
