The Business Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business requirements and user needs. This individual works together with Salesforce Consultants, Project Managers,  Technical Architects, & Management  to design and implement systems that align with the client’ s requirements and future objectives. He/she has knowledge of business best practices, technologies, and process improvements in order to enable the client in their overall solution. He/she relies on instructions from assigned project teams and pre-established guidelines in order to perform the functions of the job. When appropriate, Business Analyst’ s will produce supporting materials such as business cases, business process diagrams, wireframes, and other context diagrams. The Business Analyst works under the immediate supervision of a Project Manager, and is able to exercise independent judgment on small engagements or as a part of a team on enterprise projects. The Business Analyst should efficiently combine  both technical and business information  and present implementation needs and options confidently.

Specific duties include:
  1. Gathering and Managing Business and System Requirements
  2. Managing requirements traceability and scope
  3. Capturing business processes and mapping system data requirements
  4. Working directly with the business manager and end users
  5. Project status and milestone reporting

Typical Day Snapshot:
  • Plans, gathers and clearly documents the business needs (requirements) of clients and  stakeholders
  • Organizes and validates the requirements and ensures that all are traceable and  measurable.
  • Elicits, analyzes, validates, and documents business, functional, and non-functional  requirements
  • Serves as the day to day liaison between the clients and internal team to ensure  that all requirements are identified and met
  • Collection, coordination, and execution of data import requirements
  • Facilitates joint application review/design sessions (JAR/JAD) with clients
  • Identifies and documents issues and risks in a timely manner and presents to EM for  mitigation planning
  • Create and deliver configuration and other artifacts as outlined in the project schedule
  • Track open issues and action items as necessary
  • Serves as a SME for the instructional designer during training planning and development
  • Assists the EM in capturing and reporting project measures to the appropriate  stakeholders

  • 3+ Years of Salesforce Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’ s Degree, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years of project management  preferred
  • Excellent presentation & written/verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic understanding of the On-Demand software-as-a-service model
  • Ability to learn quickly and think creatively
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies
