Provide deployment and technical service for Netscout Network Monitoring systems.
Work closely with customers to understand their telecommunication network and perform configuration of Netscout products to ensure the systems meet customers' needs.
Integration, testing, administration and troubleshooting of telecommunications hardware and software systems.
Researches and studies subject matter, and participates in meetings, seminars, or training sessions to obtain a greater understanding of products and applications
Provides after-hours support as necessary (rotating on-call support)
Provide information regarding assigned projects to Program and Account manager.
Works proactively using System Health tools to ensure customers systems are functioning properly. Takes corrective action as needed
Develop and update procedures for installation, integration, test, and administration of
Conduct system acceptance testing with customers.
Train customers on usage and administration of systems.
Verify installation documentation and configuration and analyze cycle time for installation and upgrade standard work, including configuration management.
Technical knowledge - Strong UNIX background along with background in protocol knowledge and telecommunication services preferred. Familiarity with Netscout product suite a plus.
The candidate must be able to travel in his region with moderate to little travel required.
UNIX, Telecom/Mobility (UMTS, LTE & VoLTE), 3G/4G protocol knowledge
Knowledge of LINUX and UNIX operating systems on admin level
Shell Scripting, Oracle and SQL knowledge
Overview about Big Data and Virtualization architectures and technologies
Knowledge of incident management best practices for mission critical systems
Possess proven customer communication/interaction skills
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Clear oral and written communications skills
