Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
  • Converts business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable SharePoint web parts utilizing a combination of workflow using 3rd party tools or OTB features and Web Development Technologies 

  • Design/develop Enterprise applications and redesign existing applications using custom and non-custom SharePoint development implementing local and enterprise wide enhancements and features; identify legacy systems that can be replaced or augmented; implement Design Enterprise search capability


  • Create and build custom web parts and web applications to utilize SharePoint features allowing end users to maintain their own content; assist with intranet, extranet and internet SharePoint environments; work with end users and architects on converting various forms of content such as Excel, Word, PDF, etc.

  • Analyze information architecture, understanding business requirements and test custom development and make recommendations for 3rd party software add-ons

  • Act as technical advisor, diagnose and map business requirements; recommend project approaches; develop collaboration, workflow, forms implementation, project plans and submits time and cost estimates.

  • Identify and assist with administrative activities such as site collection creation, user issue resolution / solution, configure and maintain organizational taxonomies, policies and procedures; work with other SharePoint staff to brand, install, debug and maintain necessary code of assigned software; initiate and manage POC’ s and prototypes.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or other appropriate discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.

  • Four (4) or more years directly related experience and/or training with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working and developing with SharePoint Designer 2010 and 2013; possess a strong knowledge and understanding of SharePoint 2010 & 2013.

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Developer (MCSD) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is preferred.

  • Data warehouse concepts & experience a plus, SAP EP (Portal) preferred.

  • Possess Front-End web skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, and Client Object Model

  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.

  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus.

  • Must have enterprise level knowledge/expertise using:
    • STSADM, SQL Server 2008, R2 & 2012, IIS 6/7, Windows Server 2008 +, DNS/WINS, TCP/IP
      • IT Infrastructure Design, Performance Monitoring, Windows Workflow Foundation, Client Troubleshooting & Support on Browsers/Office/Windows, Exchange & SMTP Integration
      • SAN Storage, Backup Solutions, Multi Farm Environment, Stage Developments (Dev, Test, UAT, Production)
      • MOF ITIL, MSF Frameworks and strong understanding of SDLC
      • Virtualization (Virtual Server 2005+, HyperV, Citrix, VMWare), SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio 2010/13
      • .NET Development, HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, Ajax2
      • Graphics Creation (Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Silverlight, etc.)
      • Integrating 3rd party tools (Nintex, Bamboo, etc.), Configuring mobility for SharePoint
