Responsible for evaluating and managing new initiatives and business opportunities. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Provides leadership in planning, designing, and implementing business plans with information technology strategies. Works with end user groups to identify technical solutions to business problems or inefficiencies. Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs and makes recommendations. May require certification in specific applications. Requires a bachelor' s degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field' s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
This position can be virtual- anywhere in the U.S. -Project runs through the end of the year but may be extended into a full-time position. -Hours: 8-5 in whichever time zone the contractor resides. -At least 10 years experience with IBM Big Fix and the same with Unix/Linux, however, cert not required. -TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have: 1.) IBM/Tivoli Big Fix 2.) Unix/Linux/Aix
