Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding/configuring, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting hardware or software that is delivered on time and within budget.

Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service and tangible outputs. Rely on industry standards, best practices, and qualitative & quantitative data to support and/or refine operations methodologies.

Performs other responsibilities as assigned, including overnight and international travel.

Responsibilities may also include participation in component and architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and/or buy versus build recommendations.

Leadership expectation:  Completely independent. Oversees some cross-functional projects, relied upon to answer complex questions, and perhaps assists with some cross-regional projects. Secondary trainer of new team members.

Business Acumen expectation:  Demonstrated understanding of business model, organizational structure, company goals, and market challenges. Can work with clients to assess and articulate business value of projects, and how their project budget is structured within the company budget. 

TYPICAL PROFILE:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’ s degree or equivalent combination of education, business and relevant work experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Application development).
  • 5-10 years of experience with developing .NET Web applications, specifically utilizing both Web Forms and MVC frameworks.
  • 2-5 years of experience HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, XML
  • Experience with Sitefinity or Kentico CMS platforms a plus
  • Experience with Security and Single-Sign-On (SAML, Oauth)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial project environment
  • Microsoft Skills: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio
  • Experience in deployment of cloud-based applications, preferably in Azure environment
  • Experience with web service standards (WCF, REST, and SOAP)
  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology
  • Experience with integration with SAS a plus
