Exciting start up has landed a large retail account and needs an Account Manager to grow the business. The company ownership has launched, grew and exited some of the largest beverage brands available and intend to do it again.

Primary responsibilities will include calling on divisional Grocery Merchandisers nationally to ensure vertical alignment and secure display and promotional commitments and “ plus-up’ s” to national initiatives and programs.
Responsible for building and managing customer sales and budget goals
Develop and leverage top level relationships throughout our distributors and retailer
Excellent internal and external communication skills to ensure flawless execution of customer programs and initiatives
Develop strategic objectives for all brands to maximize volume at most effective spend rates
Manage to annual T&E budget
Cincinnati, OH based highly preferred
Must have at least (8) eight years direct sales experience calling on major Cincinnati based retailer and its divisions, specifically
Extensive travel is required, approximately 50% including overnight.
DSD beverage background necessary.
Must be self-motivated and highly organized with a strong desire to produce results with an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed.
High level of analytical skills including Market 6 and 84.51 systems experience
Must be able to quickly assess the needs of the business, develop an action plan & manage the required change. The ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals is essential.
Must have a passion for building brands, new products and long-term growth.
Must have a verifiable list of current contacts with appropriate buyers & divisional managers.
Solid computer skills in Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word. Strong understanding and analytical skills in understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data.
