Kronos Business Analyst 15 month contract in Plano, TX


The primary responsibility of this role is to perform all functions necessary to support Kronos Workforce Central Suite 8.x including integrations with payroll, HRIS, and other systems. These responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, analyzing and recommending changes to support the Kronos application and associated process changes for ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting.

Reporting to the CSS Project Portfolio Manager, the person in this role will support the Corporate Shared Services department' s objective to identify, interpret, and prioritize needs across multiple customers, and then deliver high quality business solutions.

  • Perform configuration, re-configurations, upgrades, enhancements, implementation, maintenance and user acceptance testing activities within Workforce Central v8.x
  • Maintain security related configuration in Workforce Central (function access and data access profiles)
  • Provide/coordinate resolution of issues/troubleshooting while recommending and implementing procedures and controls for problem prevention, escalation, etc.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and formal/informal training to users of supported applications
  • Responsible for providing the technical skills and business knowledge necessary for continuous innovation, creative use and on-going support of the assigned systems and technologies
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the assigned application(s) including purpose, capabilities, limitations, and the usage within the business in order to be comfortable discussing change impacts and issues
  • Develops partnerships and works closely with business team members to understand and document ‘ day-in-the-life’ and usability requirements
  • With supervision and guidance, support project lifecycle activities

  • Experience in Kronos Workforce Central v7.x or 8.x application administration and configuration including navigator, access profiles, display profiles, labor levels, labor accounts, pay policies, accruals, hyperfind queries, record manager, and DCM device management (InTouch terminal configuration)
  • Experience in implementing and configuring Kronos Accruals, Attendance, and Timekeeper
  • Experience with large interconnected systems and processes, including complex integrations between multiple 3rd  party and internal systems
  • Basic understanding of payroll business processes
  • The ability to learn and demonstrate new technologies and the ability to be responsive with both verbal and written communication, while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
  • Bachelor’ s Degree (or higher) or equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Nice to have Requirements:
  • Activities, Attestation, Advanced Scheduling, Analytics, Mobile, and other Workforce Central Modules
  • Experience with Time and Attendance requirements in a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Workday HCM as well as Payroll integration
  • Experience with Kronos service pack and version upgrades
  • Proficiency with SQL queries, Jira, Confluence and other project tools
  • Experience with Kronos Workforce Setup Data Manager with the ability to develop new interfaces using Kronos Workforce Integration Management and Process Designer
  • Ability to apply knowledge regarding regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft SharePoint technologies
