Catapult Staffing is partnering with a large IT consulting firm to provide a Field Service Technician in the Iowa City, IA or Des Moines, IA markets to work in the fast growing IT industry. 
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
  • May require an associate' s degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
  • Typically reports to a project leader or manager
  • Looking for a technician that has PC/Laptop/Printer repair experience
  • The eligible candidate must posses an A+ certification
  • Techs will be shadowing the first few weeks of assignment
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Work schedule is 8-5 M to F and on-call rotation once on assignment for a bit.

Blythe is originally from the San Antonio, TX area but mostly grew up in the California Bay Area. She attended UC Davis where she majored in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. Blythe began her career in medical supply sales right out of college. She transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry where she worked for almost 6 years as a sales representative. In 2015, her and her husband relocated to Charlotte where Blythe decided to try out a new career in recruiting! Fun facts: Blythe and her husband participate in the sport of Curling. She loves to travel and has a 6-year old dog named Milly!
